Sedge Killer

【Characteristics】This product is a grayish-yellow powder with a slight irritating odor.

【Function & Application】It blocks the photosynthesis of filamentous algae (commonly known as "moss") to kill them. Used for removing filamentous algae (moss) in the aquaculture water bodies of fish, shrimp, crabs, and shellfish.

【Usage & Dosage】

Dilute this product with more than 300 times the volume of water, then sprinkle or spray evenly.

• Dosage: Use 0.2～0.3g of this product per 1m³ of water (equivalent to 133～200g per mu of water with a depth of 1 meter). For areas where filamentous algae grow densely, the dosage can be appropriately increased, but shall not exceed 0.4g per 1m³ of water (equivalent to no more than 267g per mu of water with a depth of 1 meter).

• Frequency: Once a day, for 1～2 consecutive days.

【Precautions】

1. Do not use this product together with other drugs.

2. Prohibited for use in oxygen-deficient water bodies; prohibited for use on rainy or cloudy days.

3. After using this product, promptly aerate the water for more than 3 hours.

4. For better efficacy, use this product on sunny days and when filamentous algae have just started to grow.

5. After filamentous algae die, promptly fish them out and change an appropriate amount of water.

6. Use with caution during the seedling stage and juvenile stage of aquatic animals, as well as when shrimp and crabs are about to molt in large quantities or during the concentrated molting period.

7. When the water temperature is lower than 20℃, the dosage can be appropriately increased, but shall not exceed 0.4g/m³.

8. If there is an excessive amount of algae, the area treated in one application shall not exceed 1/3 of the total water body area.

9. This product has a killing effect on aquatic plants in crab ponds; use with caution.

10. Dispose of the packaging in a centralized manner after use.
