【Active Ingredient】 Bromochlorodimethylhydantoin (BCDMH)

【Characteristics】 This product is an off-white to pale yellow crystalline powder; It has the pungent odor of hypochlorous acid.

【Pharmacological Action】 It is a disinfectant. In water, it can continuously release bromide ions (Br⁻) and chloride ions (Cl⁻), which form hypobromous acid and hypochlorous acid. These substances oxidize and decompose the biological enzymes in bacteria, inactivating them, thereby achieving a bactericidal effect.

【Function and Use】 It is an antiseptic and disinfectant. Used for disinfecting aquaculture water bodies, it prevents and treats diseases such as hemorrhage, gill rot, skin rot, and enteritis in aquaculture animals (including fish, shrimp, crabs, soft-shelled turtles, shellfish, and frogs) caused by pathogens like Vibrio, Aeromonas hydrophile, and Edwardsiella.

【Usage and Dosage】 Based on the product itself. Dilute the product with more than 1000 times the volume of water before splashing evenly into the water:

• For treatment: Add 0.125～0.167g of this product per 1m³ of water (for a pond with an area of 1 mu and water depth of 1 meter, use 83.3g～111g of this product each time), once a day, for 2 consecutive days;

• For prevention: Add 0.125～0.167g of this product per 1m³ of water (for a pond with an area of 1 mu and water depth of 1 meter, use 83.3g～111g of this product each time), once every 15 days.

(Note: 1 mu ≈ 0.0667 hectares, a common area unit in Chinese aquaculture.)

【Adverse Reactions】 No adverse reactions have been observed when used in accordance with the specified usage and dosage.

【Precautions】

1. Do not use metal containers to hold this product.

2. Do not use it in oxygen-deficient water bodies.

3. If the water quality is relatively clear (transparency higher than 30cm), reduce the dosage appropriately.

4. When using for aquatic fry or fingerlings, halve the dosage.

【Withdrawal Period】 No withdrawal period is required.
