
[Active Ingredient] Albendazole.
[Appearance] Off-white powder.
[Pharmacological Action] Anthelmintic. This product is effective against sensitive nematodes and also exhibits strong expelling and eliminating activity against cestodes and trematodes. Its mechanism of action is mainly through binding to nematode tubulin; after binding to β-tubulin, it prevents its polymerization with α-tubulin to form microtubules. Microtubules are the basic structural units of many organelles and are essential for cell reproduction processes such as mitosis, protein assembly, and energy metabolism.
[Indications] Anthelmintic. Primarily used for treating parasitic diseases in mariculture fish caused by Diplectanum (gill) and * Benedenia*, and in freshwater cultured fish caused by Dactylogyrus and Gyrodactylus.
[Dosage and Administration] Based on this product. Mix with feed: single dose, 0.2 g per 1 kg body weight of fish (based on 5% feeding rate, use 4.0 g of this product per 1 kg of feed), once daily, for 5–7 consecutive days.
